Hours and Tours

Reception for Overnight Guests and Tours Our Reception is open for Vacation Arrivals and Departures: 7 days a week, excluding statutory holidays and altered hours on the 3rd Wednesday of every month for staff training- see chart below.

  • General Reception Hours: Monday thru Saturday from 9am-5pm, and on Sunday 2pm-5pm ONLY.

  • Closed for staff training: 4th Thursday of every month- office closes at 4:30pm- we ask that our daycare guests collect before 4:30pm or between 6:30-7pm.

  • Tours are welcome without appointment anytime during general reception hours

Statutory Holiday Modified hours or Closing (Reception only, CARE 365)
New Year’s Our hotel reception will close early (2:30pm) on December 31st and remain closed, not reopening until 9am January 2nd
Family Day, Feb Our hotel reception will remain closed until 2pm.
Easter Weekend Our office and Reception will be closed Good Friday with regular reception hours resuming for the remainder of the weekend, i.e Saturday 9-5, Sunday 2-5 and Monday 9-5
Victoria Day, May 20, 2024 Our Reception will  remain closed until 2pm on the holiday Monday
Canada Day, July 1st, 2024 Our Reception will remain closed until 2pm on the holiday Monday
Civic Holiday, August 5, 2024 Our Reception will remain closed until 2pm on the holiday Monday
Boots and Hearts It may not be a Stat Holiday, but here in Oro Medonte, and according to our staff, it may as well be 🤭 Our Reception will have modified hours on Friday (9am-4pm), Saturday (10am-3pm) and Sunday (2-4pm).
Labour Day, September 2, 2024 Our Reception will remain closed until 2 pm on the holiday Monday
Thanksgiving, October 13 – 14, 2024 We take family, fur and human, very seriously. To allow all our staff to take turns over the weekend with thier family, Our Reception will remain closed Thanksgiving Sunday and reopen at 2pm on the holiday Monday.
Christmas Our Reception will close at 2:30pm on Christmas Eve and will remain CLOSED until 9am December 27th

Daycare Hours

Our Daycare is run separately to our Vacations. Daycare guests on pre-paid packages can use the service between 7am-7pm, Monday thru Friday. This is only available to regular daycare guests who do not require the office, our caregivers will be unable to accommodate parents of vacationing guests arriving after hours when the office is closed.

We offer our apologies in advance but if arriving out of hours to collect your vacationing pet – you will unfortunately be asked to leave without your pet and asked to return the next day during regular hours.
